Does JetBlue Have Outlets on Board?

Are you planning to fly with JetBlue and wondering if they have power outlets on their planes?

As a frequent flyer with JetBlue, I can tell you that their planes have power outlets. But wait, there’s more!

Not only do they have power outlets, but they also have USB ports in every row. You can charge your devices during your flight and stay connected with your loved ones or work colleagues.

However, it would be best to remember certain things when choosing JetBlue for your travel. I’ll discuss all that as you continue reading on.

JetBlue’s Fleet

What Planes Have Outlets

Not all JetBlue planes have outlets.

JetBlue’s Airbus A321neo and A220 planes have power outlets at every seat. These planes are equipped with AC power outlets and USB ports, so you can charge your devices while you fly.

Some of JetBlue’s refurbished A321 and A320 planes also have power outlets. Unfortunately, the older E-190 planes do not have power outlets.

But JetBlue is constantly upgrading its planes, so it’s possible that more planes will be outfitted with outlets.

How Many Outlets Are on Each Plane

JetBlue’s Airbus A321neo and A220 planes have two power outlets and USB ports at every seat.

You can charge multiple devices simultaneously, which is great if traveling with a friend or family member.

JetBlue’s refurbished A321 planes also have two power outlets and two USB ports at every three seats. However, the power outlets and USB ports are in the armrests on some of these planes.

Thus, it may be less convenient than having them directly at your seat.

As such, if having power outlets at your seat is important, I recommend booking a flight on one of JetBlue’s Airbus A321neo or A220 planes.

Booking and Seat Selection

When booking a flight with JetBlue, you can select your seat. But what about power outlets?

How Can You Ensure Your Flight Has Outlets?

To ensure your flight has power outlets, you can check the aircraft type when booking your flight. JetBlue’s website shows the aircraft type for each flight during the booking process.

You can also check the seat map during booking to see if power outlets are at your selected seat.

Another way to check is by using third-party websites like SeatGuru or SeatMaestro. These websites provide detailed information about each aircraft type’s seat layout and amenities.

Outlet Availability by Cabin Class

To help you plan your next flight, we’ve created a table that compares the availability of outlets across different cabin classes on JetBlue flights.

Cabin ClassNumber of OutletsNotes
Economy1 per row of seatsOutlets are typically located between the seats, shared by two passengers.
Premium Economy1 per seatEach passenger has an individual outlet.
Business Class1 per seatEach passenger has an individual outlet, usually located on or near the seat.

Remember that the number and location of outlets may vary depending on the aircraft type and route, so it’s always a good idea to check with JetBlue or consult the seat map for your specific flight.

In-Flight Amenities

JetBlue offers power outlets on most planes, so you can keep your devices charged and stay connected throughout your flight.

But that’s not all. JetBlue also offers a range of other in-flight amenities that make flying with them a great experience. Let’s take a closer look at what else JetBlue has to offer.

What Other Amenities Does JetBlue Offer?

One thing that sets JetBlue apart from other airlines is its commitment to providing a comfortable and enjoyable flying experience.

Here are some of the other amenities you can expect when you fly with JetBlue:

  • Free Wi-Fi: JetBlue offers free Wi-Fi on all of its planes, so you can stay connected and get work done or stay entertained during your flight.
  • Live TV: JetBlue offers over 100 live TV channels, so you can catch up on your favorite shows or watch the latest news and sports.
  • Movies: JetBlue also offers a selection of movies you can watch on your device or the seatback screen.
  • Snacks and Drinks: JetBlue offers free snacks and drinks on their flights, including brand-name snacks and non-alcoholic beverages.
  • Mint Experience: For those who want to travel in style, JetBlue’s Mint Experience offers lie-flat seats, premium dining options, and other luxurious amenities.
  • Extra Legroom: JetBlue offers more legroom than most other airlines, so you can stretch out and relax during your flight.

JetBlue offers a range of amenities that make flying with them a great experience.

You can stay connected and entertained throughout your flight with power outlets, free Wi-Fi, live TV, movies, snacks, and more.

Wrapping Up

JetBlue does have power outlets on their flights. However, it is important to note that not all planes have outlets, so it is best to check before booking your flight.

JetBlue offers two types of outlets: 110V/USB power outlets and 110V AC power outlets. These outlets can be found in each of the three seats of the A321, and there are also USB charging ports in every row.

Charging your devices in the air allows you to stay connected and productive throughout your flight.

So, whether you’re traveling for business or pleasure, you can rest easy knowing that JetBlue has got you covered with its power outlets and USB ports.
